What is Silkroad?
Silkroad is a fantasy “MMORPG based on the adventures of hystorical SILKROAD” as its publisher stated on their website.  The game is mainly based on the conflict between Traders, Hunters and Thieves. Traders had to travel around the world in order to transport different goods, hunters had the duty to protect the traders until the very end and  of course the thieves had to get rid of the hunters and steal the goods for their own wealth.



Classes:

The game allows the user o pick between to different types of nations and a total of 14 classes, each of them with their own advantages and disadvantages.

Chinese Classes: Sword/Shield, Blader, Glavier, Spear,Bowman. These 5 being the main weapon skills, the user can also sellect 2 more types of support skills out of 4 (Ice, Fire, Lightining, Force)

Europe Classes: Warrior - One hand, Two-hand, Dual Axe
                                Rogue – Daggers, Crossbow
                                Wizard
                                Warlock
                                Cleric
                                Bard
European characters can sellect 2 of the top skill classes such as Wizard/Cleric, so overall a big damage dealer with some backup skills to support itself from dying and so on...

Gameplay system:

The gameplay for Silkroad Online has been changed recently in order to make it easier for new players and also for veterans. The questing system has been improved, up to level 70 players will receive free Seal of Star items and will not drop any items or gold, however they will drop some special coins for each type of degree the player is currently at in order to buy better gear.

Unique mobs will spawn at certain spots on the map and players will have to kill the unique monster which has a rather high HP. Players can join dungeons of different difficulty level and try to finish it in order to receive goods.

Players have to grind, meaning they will have to kill monsters over and over until they finish a certain quest or in order to level up or both. Everytime the player kills a monster there is a chance he will receive a zerk ball, after getting his zerk gauge full (5 balls) the player can use it for a certain amount of time in order to deal with giants or finish a quest at a rather high speed.

Pros: Great graphics, 14 different classes with possible mix-ups, great pvp system, unique proffession system.

Cons: grind based, too many spam bots, complicated for new players, low experience rate.
